I have emailed UK Visa Application Centre last night to follow up my visa application, I’m glad that they responded immediately.

Here’s the reply I’ve got from UK VAC:

Greetings from UK VAC!

Your visa application is still on process. It was delivered to the British Embassy last 03 June 2008. For Student visa applications the visa section targets to process applications in 15 working days. The processing may go beyond 15 working days. If an Entry Clearance Officer (ECO) decides if the applicant requires an interview, our office will inform you of the interview date and procedure. This could be done by calling you at your residence or by sending you a text message through your mobile.

You may track the application on our website www.vfs-uk-ph.com using your reference number and date of birth, click on the “Track your Application” on the home page. Here’s your reference number: AMAN/XXXXXX/XXXXXX/1.

On the Tracking Page, you will see one of three (3) “STATUS” remarks:

1. Forwarded to the British High Commission –This means your application is still being processed at the British Embassy.

2. Your application is ready for collection; please visit the UK Visa Application Centre where you submitted your visa application to collect the same (date specified)

3. Processed application returned to courier (date specified)

You may also track your visa application by calling the British embassy call center at the following contact details:

For PLDT Subscribers: 1-909-885-8472 or 1-909-885-VISA

For Bayantel Subscribers: 1-903-847285 or 1-903-VISAUK

Simply inform the call center agent of the reference number, date of birth and full name. This service is available nationwide through NDD-enable telephones, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 8:00pm, Saturdays 8:00am to 6:00pm.

So, same as usual… I might as well wait and I am keeping my fingers crossed and pray that the result is favorable.
