Veilside2ride’s Blogout Party!
Tuesday, May 6th, 2008Last night kuya Tolits, ate Zenny and I went to a birthday/blogout party of our friend, Marvin aka “Engineer“. We arrived at their place 9:30pm… thought we were late coz we supposed to come 6pm. We were late for 3hrs and 30 mins. (That’s Filipino time. LOL!) but when we got there we’re the 1st 3 people who arrived. (At least we’re not late! Hehehe!).
Finally, I met Marvin’s wifey, Grace, and the rest of his family and friends. They’re nice and very accommodating people. (Thanks guys!)
Anyway, we did enjoy the blogout party. It was full of fun! So for you Marvs, HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I hope you have the best birthday ever!

Long Distance Relationship
Sunday, May 4th, 2008Indeed, long distance relationship is a very tough situation. Especially if you want affection but you’re both far away from each other. Being in this situation, I find it difficult. It requires a strong commitment between you and your partner.
In order to have a successful long distance relationship there should be TRUST.
The key to making long-distance relationships work is to talk honestly and openly about how you feel.
Staying in touch regularly is the key to surviving a long-distance relationship.
- Use a variety of ways of communicating - email, telephone, text message, letter, etc.
- Send little gifts - to show how often you think of each other.
- Make some surprise calls - make the odd call just to say “I love you.”
- Send regular pictures - this will help your partner keep a visual record of what you’re up to.
- Keep a diary - then share it with your partner each time you meet.

Enthusiasm and Dating
Friday, May 2nd, 2008Be enthusiastic with your life.
If you look around you, you’ll notice that the people
who are the most attractive and charming are often the people
who are the most enthusiastic with their lives.
As humans, we’re naturally drawn to people with
“high-energy” - people who’re full of life and not afraid to
be passionate.
Passion is sexy - in both men and women.
Think about it. Would you rather date a woman who
talks in a monotone and never wants to go out, or would you
she enjoys in life?
Now…pretend you’re a woman. Would you rather date
a sexy, adventurous man…or would you rather date a
boring geek? (more…)
