If you spend your day planted in a chair, you could increase your risk of deep vein thrombosis ( DVT ) - a condition that causes swelling, pain and potentially fatal blood vessel damage. More often seen in a passengers on long-distance plane flights, DVT can also occur in office workers who sit for at least 3 hours without getting up. Inactivity slow slows circulation, which can lead to a blood clot, typically in the lower leg or thigh.

Fend it off, take a walk every hour or so (set reminder in your electronic calendar if you need a nudge).

If you’re on a diet begin your meal with a cup of soup and you might eat 20% less of your main course. Keep your calories in check with this guide to dinner’s smartest start.

DO’s

1. Stick to broth-based soups, like tomato or chicken.
2. Order a cup, not a bowl, your appetizer should not be the size of a meal.
3. Season your soup with spices like thyme or chili powder.

I’ve been lazy for a couple of days… I rarely go out and preferred to stay in my room. I eat my breakfast, lunch and dinner here and not cleaning up my mess. I finally got a chance to clean my bedroom the other day.. It’s been awhile since I had it cleaned. LOL! No wonder these red ants are crawling around my PC table… while cleaning up, I found out that they were building their nest at the corner. So I sweep them and I tried using this Miraculous Insecticide Chalk to get rid of the pest.. It’s really amazing coz after putting that insecticide, WOW! they were all gone now. I got a package today from my sweetie in Great Britain. A box handed over to me by a messenger from Las Pinas Postal Office, the guy asked me to pay 35Php???! Which I didn’t know that I have to pay for it coz I think it was covered already from the time he purchased it from the online store. It’s full of Easter Egg chocolates inside the box. A surprised present for us last Sunday but it just arrived this afternoon. Anyway, I was really disappointed not with my sweetie or the content of the box.. I was really disappointed with the online store where the items purchased, when I opened the box all the chocolates have melted into goey mess!!! Next time they must send it via air courier like FedEx or DHL.. Never mind to pay extra as long as the items are still in a good condition. What a lousy service!!!! Click here to see the pics…

What a truly pain in the ass, these fire ants also known as red ants are driving me nuts here.. I really don’t know why they really like to stay and keep crawling here in my keyboard… What’s with my keyboard that they get fond of staying here? Grrrr! I really don’t know.. Hmm.. maybe because I eat sometimes here infront of my PC? Or maybe because the trashcan is under the PC table… They must have found a crumb somewhere… w/c is w/c? I need to do something with this horrible little thing asap!
